Kronreif Gernot

Gernot Kronreif received his PhD in Robotics from the Technical University Vienna (TU Wien) in 1996. After working as a Teaching Assistant at TU Wien (1996-1999) and leading a research group for „Service Robotics“ at seibersdorf research (2000-2007) and Profactor (2007-2010) he is now Scientific Director at the ACMIT Gmbh. His main research interests are development of devices for image-guided therapy, surgical robotic systems, surgical data science, and SW/HW systems for efficient therapy planning.

FAM-3D: Functional Anatomical 3D-Models

The presentation gives a short overview of R&D activities in the framework of the FAM-3D project, with a particular focus on multi-material 3D-printing for the development of anatomical models and FAM examples.
